This collection draws inspiration from a material that transformed the history of automotive design. Invisible by nature, resin permeates fiberglass and carbon fibre, giving bodywork its lightness and extraordinary rigidity. MIO chose to celebrate this material by developing a process capable of encapsulating large objects within a single cast. Though perfectly visible, the object becomes untouchable, suspended between reality and illusion.

This collection is inspired by a material whose exceptional properties made it indispensable in high-performance racing vehicles, where ceramic coatings are applied to exhaust systems to withstand the extreme temperatures generated within. Captivated by the contrast between the fragility of ceramic and the relentless pursuit of speed and performance, MIO reinterprets this material through a collection of objects that bridge automotive heritage and contemporary design.
